Empowerment is a methodology that fosters the growth process of the individual and the group by increasing self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-determination by bringing out latent and unused resources. The umbalance between the stresses received and the resources available in today's ultra-competitive environment of rapidly changing scenarios and technologies easily results in stress and burn-out situations. But how to respond and defend against this? Where does creativity fit into the problem solving process? There is a big difference between creative process and problem solving. The creative process is about coming up with new ideas and exploring different possibilities. Problem solving, on the other hand, is about finding a solution to a specific problem, ranging from defining the problem, to identifying, evaluating and choosing among possible solutions, and finally putting it into practice. In a highly competitive and ever-changing environment, managers are often asked to identify innovative solutions to meet market needs.
